The Solux Electronic Ballast is a microprocessor-controlled ballast that maintains the lamp’s lumen level for longer than traditional ballasts. Low start-up level at only 3 A per unit and IP43 protection. It is a silent and very light unit that can be mounted on the wall. With thermal and circuit protection. Intelligent digital “soft-start” technology. In combination with Solux lamps, 65,000 Lumens (400 W) and 105,000 (600 W) are obtained. Includes connection cable to lamp with injected IEC plug.

Why choose electronic ballasts instead of traditional electromagnetic ballasts?

Fast start-up. It reaches its maximum power in less than a minute, whereas electromagnetic ballasts take up to 20 minutes to reach full performance.
Completely silent. You have to be very close to the ballast to hear a very faint sound.
Compact and small design. A 600 ballast weighs less than 4 kilos compared to the 8 kilos of the electromagnetic ballast.
Produces less heat.
Safety circuit. To protect the ballast and lamp from any damage.
Extends lamp life. The loss of lumens from the lamp over time is drastically lower than that of a conventional ballast.
Fully compatible. You can connect high pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (MH) lamps prepared to work with sodium ballasts (Sunmaster).
Higher lumen output. 20-30% more lumens than an electromagnetic ballast. More lumens = More yield.
Adjustable light intensity. To adapt the light to the phenological state of the plants, Solux ballasts allow the light to be adjusted from 50% to 75%, 100% and 110% (Super Lumens).
