The Kappa series from Solux has been developed for efficient use in large indoor projects, but is also suitable for small projects for personal use. This luminaire combines a generation of new, highly efficient agricultural COBs from Citizen and passive cooling at the highest level.

This not only maximizes savings potential but increases quality and avoids problems since it has no moving parts (fans).

Indoor cultivation requires high light intensities with a massive photon flux density. Kappa provides this type of light to achieve the best yields, consuming less electricity and maximizing the exposed surface by distributing the light emission points along the aluminum profile. In this way, the light reaches the lowest leaves of the crop.

Optimal for 1m²: 3 bars (300W)

The passive cooling system based on grooved aluminium fins allows for silent and maintenance-free operation of the luminaire.

The PW spectrum offers a more natural light, visually the plants show their characteristic colours, which allows for better visual control of pathologies that may affect the crop. The balance between wavelengths favours compact and leafy morphogenesis. Suitable for all phases of cultivation.

Solux Kappa can also be mounted with PRB type COBs (red and blue) on request. As standard they are mounted with PW as it is the spectrum most similar to sunlight.
